A great addition to the Playstation ecosystem
It is mentioned that Microsoft also has a console dedicated to people with special needs called the Xbox Adaptive Controller and it was released during the year 2028, and we remind our followers that it came in the company’s statement, which was published on the official PlayStation blog about the custom console as follows:
By connecting with accessibility experts and great organizations like AbleGamers, SpecialEffect and Stack Up, we've designed a highly configurable controller that works alongside many third-party accessibility accessories and integrates with the PS5 controller to open up new ways to game.
As disclosed, the Leonardo project is expandable with four 3.5mm AUX ports to support a variety of external adapters and third-party accessibility accessories.
This allows users to integrate special switches, buttons or analog sticks with the Project Leonardo controller. External peripherals can be dynamically connected or disconnected, and each can be configured to act like any button.
